Yet still I am not the one making up stories about "subjective" and "Flat Earth" in order to avoid answering the question regarding MVCI and horrid condition it is in.
I deal with reality and facts, let's see if you can come up with the reason as to why MVCI is dead and all support has been dropped in such a short space of time.
You have yet to explain the reason for DBFZ selling 2 million copies in 1 week while at the same time outselling lifetime sales of MVCI within just 1 hour of its release. It couldn't have anything to do with the artstyle now could it?
But I am sure you will make up some new excuse
As for waiting to die, you need not worry about me waiting to die, you only need to worry about the $100 vaporware you purchase that is already dead.
LOL yeah you actually got away there. Currently this game is going for $14 on geeee two a but even then I still refuse to buy this, hell if I got this free it would be a waste of 60 GB install space.
DBFZ looks way better and only uses 5GB if so much
There isn't going to be a new Marvel game after the asinine backlash this game has received - and to be honest, I would MUCH rather they make a Capcom All-Stars game instead, where atleast they'd have complete artistic control over the game.
As far as it being subjective goes:
When MVC3 released, I NEVER liked the visual style it had, the characters looked undetailed, and textures look muddy (played on PS3, X360, PC and PS4) even on 1080p. All characters having a universal and static "Hitstun" animation always looked off - especially on characters like Amaterasu and Shuma ; and the stages were very simple recolors of one another. UMVC3 also had very craptastic remixes for it's menu and character select compared to vanilla MVC3 even and that game was woefully unbalanced and could not receive any patches until it's later lifecycle.
UMVC3 was also excessively notorious around my circle of friends (whom are the most casual of casuals in fighters for being very hard to play right and for being even more unfriendly online when it came to learning it.
Comparatively - The only real issue I have with MVCI's artstyle overall (because please don't talk to me about Chun Li's face and no-neck Cap after you've seen the monstrocity that is Frank West in TvC) is that the HUD looks very much like a mobile game, which severely downplays the actual visuals of the game imo. The characters themselves have sharp and detailed textures, and are riddled with neat lighting effects like Zero's saber. The models being a little funky are fine with me, again, see Frank West and Zero in TvC and see how lifeless and awful Dante [i.ytimg.com] looks.
To me, those models in MVC3 are hella basic and undetailed, what makes the game look so stylized, is the fact that the HUD is leagues better than the ones in MVCI and it has more vibrant colors. I tried both games in 4k and had the same exact results, MVCI's models, as funky as they are, just look a lot more detailed. The failings in MVCI are, again, the HUD and the colors not being set correctly. I also think MVCI would appease many fans if they had a soft outline around the characters, kinda like how Borderlands does it and make their stages just pop out a bit more with a bit more background fluff.
I do agree that the character select looks pretty terrible and the artwork they used for the characters are pretty iffy, but none of that sounds like something that isn't patchable or fixable is what I'm saying. Personally, I just like how MVCI looks more in general.
Oh excuse me, I guess I'm not allowed to like how MVCI looks over MVC3 because you said so. I am also not avoiding anything - MVCI is in a bad state, but hey, so has the entire MVC franchise since UMVC3 came out and left an extremely sour taste in a lot of people's mouths. Even if MVCI looked like DBFZ, it wouldn't have changed how the game was gonna end up, it would have lasted a touch longer, because people like yourself wouldn't be whining about muh graphics daily here like they have no lives, but it would have tripped and keeled over in a year or two's time regardless, just like MVC3 did.
MVCI isn't dead. It's dead if you want it to, the game is still being played by a handful of people who just like to play and have fun with it. I have friends on my list who will always say yes to a couple of games.
I have explained why DBFZ sold, it is literally riding on the coat tails of Dragon Ball Super being a massive success and a cultural phenomenon amongst casuals and even DBZ newbies - DBZ is, and always will be a household IP - but the quality of it's games BEFORE Arc got it's hands on it, was dwindling hardcore since Budokai 3 was a thing in the past. Xenoverse 1 and 2 were more RPGs than pure fighters, and Xenoverse 2 actually having characters like Goku Black in it made it wildly more popular than Xeno 1 - but again oh no muh graphics.
What's your excuse for coming in here DAILY? Did MVCI touch you in your privates for you to hate it this much? lmao.
I spent over 100 hours on this "dead game", I more than got my money's worth out of it. Out of 1600+ games, I enjoyed my time with MVCI a lot more than most other games so.
You do you fam.
All I hear from you is bla bla bla bla DBFZ sold because of bla bla bla bla. excuses and more idiotic excuses about how it sold because of its name when we all know that is the furthest thing from the truth. Especially since other dragon ball games sold like trash
When in reality we know it sold because of the amazing artstyle and graphics combined with a 3v3 MVC style gameplay. DBFZ is the fastest selling fighting game in history and has a new world record of 2 million units in just 1 week. Let us never forget that DBFZ took MVCI and tossed it into the dumpster when it outsold MVCI lifetime sales within just 1 hour of its release.
Capcom caused this, what they do is they use the names to make money now, they put out absolute garbage in fighting games and expect people to buy it based on the name, luckily people no longer fall for such scam. Everybody knows that Capcom only focuses resources on Monster Hunter and Resident Evil. Everybody knows they put out sub par fighting games now since they are bleeding talent and have been for the last 18 years in their fighting game department.
But go ahead and keep making excuses, deny facts, science and evidence.
I have no sympathy for this game and the people who paid full price for this crap. MVCI was nothing more than a cash grab and everybody knows it....
IGN actually reviewed this game accurately, according to IGN this game is UGLY everything and everybody looks UGLY in MVCI.

Even if Capcom wanted to use the Gem stones and crappy 2v2 gameplay, they could have done that and let Eighting do the Visuals.
THERE IS NO LOGICAL REASON WHY CAPCOM COULDN'T HIRE EIGHTING, But they decided to build it themselves with the few useless talent they had left because they thought people would eat up anything with the Marvel name. How wrong were they....

But let me guess even IGN is making things up when they said this game looks so ugly and disgusting? its all subjective LMFAO there is like totally nothing wrong with how this game looks right? ROFL
Ooh look Max says MVCI looks worse than MVC3 ROFL
Don't worry all you have to do is email max and let him know that it's just "subjective" and everything will be fine and MVCI will have high sale numbers
loool

Holy crap dude, I am convinced you are just a blind hater. I just saw like 4 of your posts on r/kappa and a bunch of your deleted posts on the mvci subreddit - you have a problem, you really should be getting some help with that.
Also, how tf is it lying to say I do like MVCI's art more? Because IGN said so? Are you stupid? If anything, at this point you're so deep in your own crap you could practically drown in it.
The fact that you're now telling me that I cannot enjoy anything because YOU say so is proof enough to me that dealing with you is like dealing with a special needs kid throwing one hell of a temper tantrum who just refuses to let it go. Someone who just can't bear to see anyone enjoy what you do not enjoy.
Say whatever dumb garbage you want to say - replying to you is a waste of my time and everyone else on this Forum's at this point. Go post at r/kappa that you now control whatever everyone else is supposed to like.
Still MVCI is dead still marvel and capcom has abandoned this game forever.
You keep side stepping this issue, if graphics do not matter like you claim then tell me why is this game dead and why Capcom abandoned it within just 3 months of its release?
Melee has excellent graphics and artstyle for the time it was released.
Melee has an excellent roster.
Melee has excellent sound.
There is a reason SF3 3rd Strike looks better than MVCI even though its from 1996.
This is what you call the power of a great artist. Great art stands the test of time
