MvC2 is the only real MvC. UMvC3 was closer to real Marvel than any other game in the series. DBFZ is closer to real Marvel than Buyer vs. Remorse: Infinite.
Slower? Tournament standard for MvC2 is Turbo 1. Dumbed down? You obviously have never played it at a high level. There's a reason why MvC2 was played on main stage for 10 years and still has side tournaments to this day. What's MvC1 got? Fightcade? Neat.
Only mashers and scrubs play MvC2 on Turbo 2.
In other words you mash until it works. Gotcha. I bet you're the type that played low tier trash in turbo 2, infinite time, with no assists in MvC2 and pretended they were good until one of those "cheap scrubs abusing assists and top tier" came in and bodied you for free.
