Is this game worth for single player content?
How is this game for single player only?

Is the online still working/fast at matchmaking? Thanks

I was wondering also if its worth getting. I picked up Marvel 3 on sale that had better feedback than this one. Heres a Ign review that may help you decide. Im still on the fence with this one.

Althoug the graphics are no good, the fight dynamics and the combinations you can get with the characters are fun. Don't know about the online but offline you should have fun for some time.

For under $20, probably, just depends on what you want out of single-player content. Arcade is about five fights and 2 boss fights, story mode can occupy a few hours but it feels lacking, and missions where it has you do combos with specific characters. I'm having fun with it at it's discounted price. Bought it for about $18 US on sale that includes the DLC characters.

I bought the game for the single player only and at the current price, its worth. Story is pretty good so far.

so far I really enjoyed the combat. Sure, the game could have been better, bland UI and lack of support. But I like the old school arcade fighting game and this seems like one. Jus sad it did not do so well :/

Also I couldnt find any matches online as well. I guess it is a kind of game where you beat the story and play it when your friends come over

My first impression is I'll be happy with the content.

If you're a Marvel or Capcom fan to any degree, they really introduce a bunch of really cool crossover moments in the story, and overall it's a pretty unique story that feels true to Sigma, Ultron, and Thanos's characters. Online is currently dead, but the game is rather fun and the campaign is certainly worth a play through

After watching the campaign opening, I have to say I kinda feel let down on the story telling. It seems too much like reading a book series for the first time but skipping the first book entirely. It would have been nice to have an actual beginning. Guess I'll have to wait and see if they reboot the story at some point.

Not at all.

This game's single player story is downright horrid. Some of the worst story-telling
in any fighting game, which is saying a lot. Hell, even lesser known fighting games
like Bloody Roar II have better story modes than MvsCI.

And the voice acting is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ painful. I don't know who the voice director was for
this game but I sincerely hope that person was fired. We've got a collection of
bland, boring, and downright ♥♥♥♥♥♥ voice actors & actresses of the same quality
of MEH/BAD as Street Fighter 4's voice actors were.

And sad thing is that there are some good VAs in this game, but I dunno, wrong
characters they're voicing or just bad direction (most likely), but even solid VAs
like Fred Tatasciore (Hulk) doesn't sound good in this game.

If you want horrible story mode please play DBFZ. It is worse and longer.
You wont have whole lot of fun with MvCI story and finish it in 2-3 hours but with DBFZ in 2-3 hours you will get sick of story mode and you will be scared to realise that it will take at least twice as long to finish it.

Well I had some problems with swallowing Venom whose voice on first impression fitted more Green Goblin but it wasnt bad enough to prevent me from maining him. Rest of voices were ok.

Worth of purchase for single player only? Yes. On sale. Although it feels bad to give capcom money for it because they bailed on MvCI too quickly.
For SP+Online? Yeah if you can find group. In internet peoples are still organising to make fight clubs and small offline tournaments still happen.
