How to change gears - automatic

I just bought this game and am playing free travel. I chose a car with automatic gear box. I start the engine but cannot change from P (Park) to D(Drive)? How do I do this on the keyboard? I tried holding the spacebar, and using the mouse scroll but NOTHING happens....help!

You should press break pedal to change gears on automatic gearbox, like in real car.

i have the same problem. I also tried pressing the break pedal but not working at all. please fix this

Hello. There's nothing to fix here. Everything works as it should. Likely you're doing something wrong.

If you're using the car with an automatic transmission, press and hold the brake pedal, then switch to the "D" gear (use the Next gear\Previous gear keys to do it).
