Car revs up but doesn't move
I have a Logitech G29, whenever I try to move my car it just revs up but doesn't move at all. My parking brake isn't activated, I have a seatbelt on and I tried timing the clutch with no success at all. This too occurs with automatic cars.

I tried reinstalling the Logitech software and unplugged all of the cables of my G29 and cleaned them several times and also tried different USB ports. So far no success.
So far no success. The wheels are spinning tho if I view my car from the outside.

I also have no such similar issues in other driving games like ETS2. I also tried reinstalling City Car Driving several times and also verified the game files

Does anyone have a possible solution to that?

Hello,

Our game supports almost all steering wheels/controllers, which are compatible with Microsoft Windows and DirectX. If your wheel/controller has proper driver it should work fine. We recommend wheels/controllers with 900 degrees rotation for maximum comfortable gameplay.

If you're using a racing wheel/controller you should set up it properly.

First of all – reset all the in-game controls to default (if you tried setup it earlier).

Then quit the game and before starting the game again, please perform these steps:

1. Update your wheel/controller driver to the latest version from your controller manufacturer's website.
2. Calibrate your wheel/controller and check if it works correctly in Windows.
3. Please note that you should connect your wheel/controller to the PC and wait until the very end of its auto calibration strictly before(!) launching the simulator.
4. Go to Steam > Settings > Controller > General Controller Settings
and deactivate everything there.

After that start the game and follow the directions below:

First, check if your wheel/controller has the ready settings preset in the game controls menu. If it has one – just select your wheel/controller from the dropdown list. Everything should work automatically from this point.

If your wheel/controller does not have a ready preset select the “default” preset from the dropdown list. Then you have to assign buttons and axes in the game settings manually. To do that you should double-click with the left mouse button on every action in the list and then push the proper button or pedal on your wheel/controller to assign this button or pedal for this action.

This video explains this process clearly and can help you to setup your racing wheel/controller - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eENM08lu06w

If you're using a gamepad (or any other controller) the procedure is the same.

For anyone stumbling to this post, it's break pedal. Go to axis settings and reverse break pedal from -1 min and 1 max to 1min and -1 max. Game thinks pedal is always pressed.

You might have to do the same with clutch and acceleration. Just go into game see if it's reversed and change thru trial and error.
