Roundabouts for EU don't seem to work according to the law
In Serbia (Southeast Europe) this is how roundabouts work (IT works the same way for other EU countries as well, not sure if it does in all countries)
When you enter a roundabout and exit at the first exit you use the right indicators
When you enter a roundabout and exit the second or third or fourth exit you use the left indicator to enter the roundabout and then switch to right indicator to exit the roundabout
also when youre leaving at the second or whatever exit thats not first (if the roundabout has multiple lanes in it) you drive at the inside lane and before exiting you cut trough the lanes into the inside lane of the road.
This pro pic I made in paint should explain.
In the game this gives you penalties.....

Indeed this is an annoying issue ive noticed, the fact that you have too indicate too the right when you enter even thought you have no intention too take the first exit simply makes no sense. In Norway we use the right indicator when we want to go the first exit too the right, we use the left indiator when we want too take the last exit too the right and we use the right indicator ONLY when were going too exit the roundabout.

Yeah it's pretty annoying. I hope they patch it. This is a Russian game and I don't know how roundabouts work in Russia, their way makes no sense though. Or maybe the person who coded the roundabouts doesn't fully know the law of it :P xD

Now roundabouts works most likely in Russia: you should indicate entrance on it by right indicator, then if you go through it you should indicate it by left indicator. When you leave roundabout you should indicate it by right indicator and go to right lane.

In next releases we will improve rules control for EU.

Would it be possible too add in the Norwegian rules aswell when making a profile? Our rules can be verry diffrent from the EU including Yellow marking too mark traffic i diffrent directions and some other things.

If you give us some more information about it (links where we can find more info about rules in your country) we will try to do that in one of the next releases.

Unfortunatley i dont know exactly where too find the best information about this but with a bit of research it shouldbe to hard. As far as i know the main diffrences with roadrules is that when traffic goes in diffrent directions the markings are yellow so you can easely tell. The speedlimit is 50 km/h in populated areas and 80 km/h outside and 90-100 km/h on a motorway (rarely 110 km/h), there isnt that many diffrences between EU and Norwegian road rules but me being from Norway and driving in CCD with EU laws it can get quite confusing as the marking on the road that seperates traffic is white all the time. With a bit of research is shouldnt be too hard too figure out everything necceseary.

I appreciate greatly that you guys are this comitted to the game, and i would totally understand if it takes more time than anticipated to implement country-specific traffic-rules.
But anyway, here's an link from "vegvesenet"'s official Norwegian rulebook in english. :)

If you have the time and want to include another special variant, roundabout indicator usage is different in Germany from the rest of the EU. Here you are actually forbidden to use your indicators when entering the roundabout. You should only indicate once you are leaving the roundabout. The reason beeing a waiting motorist at the next exit might think you want to leave before him and enter the roundabout, cutting you off.

So a drive through would look like this:

Stop before roundabout, traffic in roundabout has right of way, indicators off

Enter roundabout and approach your exit, still no indicator usage

When approaching your exit indicate right (after crossing previous exit)

Leave roundabout, watch for pedestrians or cyclists on zebra striped crosswalks, these would have right of way

Done

And in the exam in germany we didn't get error points when we stall the car engine

Throwing my 2 cents here but this is the prefered roundabout entry and trajectory that my country uses (Romania) http://i.imgur.com/xjv3rJu.jpg
This is taken from an official test answer and all routes are correct and preferred.

Switzerland strikes again :-) again we seem to have special rules compared to the rest of Europe, would be nice to make those rules selectable in a Switzerland Profile:

See http://baselexpats.com/?p=80 Point 10

In Australia, the rules for roundabout indicating are simple... Make it up as you see fit, and if you heard something on Facebook about what to do, it's probably a law.

Seriously though, we're the same as the 2nd posts description of Norway, except reversed because we're driving on the left.
