Can't start game

I just bought this game, and I can't get it to load at all. I thought maybe it was because I steam installed on a drive other than the main C drive so I reinstalled it.

The error I keep getting is something like this:
nFileServer2::CopyFile(E:/Steam/steamapps/common/City Car Driving/data/config/rain.ini, C:/Users/Nate/Documents/Forward Development/City Car Driving Steam/config/rain.ini): could not open target file!

it also does it for snow.ini

Then it throws another error:

nSQLite3Query::Execute(): sqlite3_get_table() failed with 'attempt to write a readonly database'

Then it throws yet another error:

which is a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime library Runtime Error referencing starter.exe

If I can't even get this game to start and play properly, I'm going to be looking for a refund on this game. I have over 130 other games on Steam that I can play without any problem whatsoever.

Hello,

This looks very similar to an antivirus problem. For example, we’ve faced very similar issues with BitDefender antivirus.

Please, follow these steps:

1. Turn of the UAC - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/turn-user-account-control-on-off#1TC=windows-7

2. Turn off any antivirus or firewall software.

But it is really bad if I havet to turn off my antivirus eveytime. It is annoying and unsafe. And this game isn very´t cheap. When will you repair it?

How are we supossed to do that? Your antivirus has the false positive detection and blocks something. Add the game folder to its exceptions or contact your antivirus techsupport - they need to fix their antivirus false blocking, but not us.

Are you guys still having issues with the game not loading? I also have bit defender and it is know to block too many trusted applications, but better safe than sorry. I have bitdefender total security 2019 loaded with all protection. What I had to do was add the city car driving folder to the antivirus exeption scan list. I added the game exe file to the trustted applications to the advanced thead defense, safe files, ransomware remediation, and that seemed to do the trick pretty much add it to all of the exeptions you guys can find. TO THE DEVELOPER, please work with bitdefender so that we dont have to do this manually.

Are you using a laptop/integrated graphics card by any chance? If so, the game doesn't work on those. Which is completely stupid that they haven't even bothered to start supporting those, unbelievable.
