Realistic clutch mod?

Hi, I really want to buy this game, but when I've played it, the clutch seems to be the same with every car. Also, you can drive forward without using gas pedal with every vehicle - every vehicle is diesel one? The biting point is a little bit low also and not variable. Basically every vehicle feels the same....

Is there some car mod that will help to fix this issue and make driving with clutch more realistic
(realistic biting point, more stalling if not done correctly, petrol car that you need to press gas pedal)? I liked driving in this game, but the cars are just cosmetics, it doesn't affect driving with clutch. Clutch is really forgiving in this game, even if you are doing it wrong, you will still be able to drive.

This is really keeping me away from buying :/

Hello. If you will be accurate enough - you will be able to drive forward only by clutch, without a gas. It's a normal situation. And not only for diesel vehicles. Especially taking into account that on most modern cars there's electronic throttle controller, which rises engine RPMs in case they're dropping too low.

Regarding the biting point - it's quite hard to simulate it at all. Even on a real car sometimes it's not so easy to catch it accurately.

Well, I have driven a couple of petrol cars, and it is impossible to drive them forward without gas. Even some diesel ones need gas.

I've found some car mods that had a different biting point and they stalled without gas, so I think we can close this :) Modding community to the win. It's a pity that CCD have no modded maps support :/ Are you planning to add this? It would be amazing, imagine the possiblities!

I think that in order to be a realistic simulation that is intended to teach people how to drive, realistic clutch feel/behavior and stalling should be implemented correctly.

@weiwei it's a long time ago, but I haven't used mods, just used some new cars. I think it was WV Polo that had different biting point, but it's really a long time ago, so can't tell for sure :/

you are wrong, you can drive without gas on all cars with only 700-800 idling rpm if you are good with the clutch pedal

Sync or no sync ♥♥♥♥♥♥ can launch with feathered release of clutch with no gas.

All default cars can drive without a gas pedal. Some mods have incorrect clutch imitation and it is difficult to catch the clutch point, even on good gaming pedals.
