The gog version has low resolution, strange key settings, and keeps popping to the desktop.

How to change resolution as the ingame choices are limited up to 1024x768, and you may get black bars on the screen sides:

1 - Don't run game from icon installed by gog.
2 - In game folder,
Once only, run nglide_config.exe, set your desired resolution, close.
Once only, run Config.exe, tick D3D, close

3 - Always launch game running D3D.exe (you can make a direct access icon):
Annnd ...
Get full screen ingame at the desired resolution with legible texts, etc !
(Game menu will keep having black side bars)
