The Gold Edition has the DLC built-in, while the standard edition requires that you purchase the DLC separately.

The Gold Edition doesn't have the latest patch(es), meaning it could be more buggy for some.

The Gold Edition doesn't have achievements, the standard edition does.

And I think that's about it(?).
