Horrible stutter, any solutions?

Cannot play this game, it starts ok, but after hiring ground troops, the game starts stuttering like hell, it basically freezes every second. Tried lowering all settings to minimum, changing the native refresh from 144hz to 60hz, nothing works.
Its a very nice game, if anyone has a solution for this problem i would be grateful. Win 10 system, wonder if thats the issue.
