Severed into Shreds?

At least some people have the achievement so it should not be glitched. What's the trick? There are not many Black Cove ships (and only in specific missions). I have a save near the final fight with lots of them but no matter what ship I use they come nowhere close to destroying the ship with one broadside. Any tips?

I believe everyone who has this achievement has cheated by using 3rd party software to unlock it.

Yeah I watched your video before but still I wanted to make sure if it would work for me or not. Wasted quite somet time till I managed to do it and yeah still no achievement
