Wizard Training (and training in general)

Got seriously angry trying this today. I'm already stuck really early in. I can't pass the second level of wizard training, and there don't appear to be any complete guides for training as a whole. It seems like you need to be dead perfect to win, and I cannot, for the life of me, figure out what the exact sequence is supposed to be. No matter how many different combinations I try, the wardrobe is always left with 1 HP, or the wardrobe is dead but there's still at least one broom left. The main game is not nearly this hard... or maybe I just suck at math.

Yeah, the training sections play more like puzzles than tutorials. Let me see if I can throw together a solution real quick.

1) Cast lightning on each 3 hp bucket
2) Cast lightning on wardrobe, finishing off 1 hp brushes
3) Lightning on 2 hp brush leaving only wardrobe
4) Zap to finish off wardrobe

Oh, my god, thank you so much!

It seems so simple now. Again, I'm not sure how I didn't figure it out before. I did try going after the 3hp buckets first a bunch of times, but then apparently derped my way through the rest of it, lol.
