From what I remember, after you hit , you will apply a debuff to enemy negative their dodge function in this turn
"Damage Over Time" bypass armor.
They are really good VS heavily armored enemies.
The Corpse only use for that set of cards. I hope more too.
An animated armor use for defense while counter attack at the same time.
Example if a boss has Flower value of 5.
If you deal 1 damage to the boss, it will become 6.
Superb for low stamina rapid attack.
It even apply on DOT.
1: Revenant Attack gets dodged by enemies. Its possible that it removes all dodge rather than just 1 dodge like other attacks, or prevents future dodging, but its unclear to me.
2: Ok I get that the start is damage amplification and that it applies to outright attacks. However its still unclear what sets it off. Does reactive defenses (skulls) like Soul Armor set it off? Does the Revenant Attack's own DoT set it off? Does the Poison and Withering from and Wraith Collector set it off? If you have two instances of Soul Armor does it trigger for each? What about one instance of multiple effects like Poison and Withering?
3: Similarly do all DoT effects (Poison, Withering, Fighting Revenants) ignore armor? Also when do they trigger? Some of them seem to trigger at start of enemy turn, while others at start of your turn. Also does Soul Shield do damage after you are hit, unlike stuff like Storm Ring which can kill enemies preemptively?
4: As far as I can tell Revenant Attack only gives two Corpses back if you actually score a kill when you play it. Which means if you spend three Revenant Attacks to kill a single enemy you are net losing Corpses and need either Death Ring or Raise Dead or other means to shore up numbers. Which means you have to use it to inefficiently finish off mobs to bulk up your Corpse supply, then use that supply to land scaling damage on bosses and other high HP monsters. The Corpse economy makes sense to me now.
2. Anything can get bonus from flower.
Example you have flower value of 5 on an enemy. And you have 3 different poison on it.
All 3 poison get bonus independently.
Nothing confusing. First time play then noticed.
3. At the start of turn after enemy regen if they have regen.
4. Nothing is perfect.
