confused about berserker style
so i just unlocked it - and played a few rounds
its almost impossible to build up 2 fury to use any other berserker cards ... basicly need to play 3 rage cards in the same turn
am i missing something or are there more cards to come that build fury?

There's more cards to come. Clear some bosses you haven't cleared yet (in both campaigns ideally), and you'll eventually unlock more weapons/shields. Like the styles you unlock via leveling, these also tend to come in a few different flavors - one or more of those being berserker related.

I'm at a similar spot as you, where I have Lv4 but haven't unlocked the additional Berserker support yet. But from beating the game as Wizard, I have a variety of options for all styles (generic/Lightning/Fire/Dark) in all three deck slots.

Hi Eriktion, to build rage you usually need to use resist hit as many times as you can and inner rage as soon as you get the chance. You'll notice it's not as hard as it looks once you get the hang of it. However, as you say, it's almost impossible to build rage if you are fighting against single enemies, (unless you have items that give you rage).

@Xuande: Glad to hear you beat the game with the wizard. Both dungeons or only one of them? :D

Currently just the second campaign - I have all keys for first, but haven't tried it recently. When I saw there was no unlock attached to game clear aside from a boss icon, I didn't bother, waiting to clear first campaign with a different character. I had used this build:

Lv7 Wizard (ended at Lv8)
Necromancy School - Book of Lightning - Lightning Scrolls
Arcane Robes - Storm Ring - Vampire Familiar

Basically, buckets of card draw with the option to have Soul Armor x2-3 active when/if you finally run out of energy. Late game minions turn Lightning into a 1-mana cantrip, but there's still enough armor-piercing and burst damage in the deck to punch through even the final encounter in a matter of a few turns or so. Not much in the game can get through six armor, and that amount of armor is a reasonable goal (could run even more with Ring of Shielding, but Storm Ring helps get through large amounts of armor and acts as a Chain starter for a lot of hands.)

I'm back to messing with my Lv4 Fighter, who currently feels a lot clunkier with the unlocks I have so far. Having half your deck be reactive-only cards means having to play a lot of rounds per encounter, which means slower gameplay and more chances to brick a hand.

Haven't tried Rogue yet.

Hi Xuande, interesting build! I love reading this kind of stuff. :)
Yes, the Wizard can become quite powerful with the right build, and there are so many combinations that I still have a few to try in depth!

In case you didn't know yet, you can unlock subclasses for the heroes (lich or storm master for the wizard), if you beat a certain dungeon while using a certain deck. You can check them out by clicking on the hero face in the equipment screen (we should make it more visible I know). Anyways, subclasses only give you passives so they are more like a late game, collectable/achievement.

Good luck with the fighter! :)

Nope, didn't know about that mechanic!

I find it not really true so far. To get there, you need to have 3 resist hit cards in the same turn, use them all (so you need 3 enemies, but not too hard, or they will damage you through resist) and then inner rage card on your next turn. And to be honest the reward for doing that is also low. You get some bonus for your next attack and potentially a little healing, at big cost to energy.

This is all with just the one berserker item, I do hope there is another one that changes this.

For comparison, building a combo in the wizard starting deck is ridiculously easy, you can very easily get it each turn, each battle and usually it lets you clear the whole wave of enemies in one turn.
