Question on "The bracelet" schievement

I played the game, maxed out the skills, did not get the achivement (spend 50 skill points) - I then did a custom puzzle, ended up buying all the skills again, still no achievement. Am i missing something here?

Getting all the skills does not require 50 skill points, in order to get the achievement to trigger you need to start a new game and level up a skill a couple times. Also important to note that custom puzzles do not contribute to achievements, including this one. You need to do it either on a normal or challenge mode.
