Decisions from Episode 2 Didn't Transfer to Episode 3

I've just started Episode 3, and I noticed something strange. When the map of Paper City is shown Betty's Diner is still intact, even though I made the decision to burn it down. At first I thought maybe the developers simply forgot to include it, but when looking at the projector showing all the events up until then, it showed the "Red Man" killing CBG. What's weird is that everything else seems to have transfered just fine. I still have the Red Cloth and Lvl 6 Sword from Episode 1, and the game also remembers that I had the "Red Man" kill Millie, so I'm confused as to why this is the only thing that didn't transfer properly.

I want to continue the story and finish the game after playing the game over a year ago, but I feel like the fact that this decision wasn't tranfered properly could affect how the story progresses.

EDIT:
After checking my Episode 1 and 2 save data, and I think that the reason why the data didn't transfer is because there's no cloud save data in Episode 2 for some reason, while Episode 1 does. Any idea why that might be?

Hey Commander Wof this is an issue becuase even without the cloud save decisions should transfer normally. Did you erase or move any of the save files locally before starting the new episode? Or is it possible you played the episode 2 again with different decisions and finished the episode with that save file?

I actually replayed both episodes since it had been so long since I had played them, after which I immediately jumped into Episode 3. However, in both of my plathroughs I didn't kill CBG, I don't even have the achievemnet for it, so the game isn't mixing up new and old save files. Heck I didn't even get the red cloth the first time around because I got the achievement for collecting all items during my most recent playthrough after getting it, so for whatever reason, all of my data from my recent playthrough transfered except for the major decision made in Episode 2. I also never messed with any of the save files, all of my old ones are still there.

I just replayed Episode 2 again and I made sure to save my game, and it still didn't transfer my decisions.

I'm playing single episodes. I just sent the email with the output_logs from both Epsiode 2 and Episode 3 in case it's an issue with one or both of the episodes.

Hey, so I was told in email all the way back in August of 2018 after sending my game data that the reason my choices didn't transfer is due to a bug with the game itself that would be fixed in the next major update. That was over a year ago. Any progress report that you can give regarding this issue? I still haven't finished episode 3 because of this issue, and I really want to play it!

Still waiting for that update. At this point, I get the feeling the only way I'm ever going to experience the ending of this game with my choices intact is if I buy the Collector's Edition. It's been 5 years since I first played the game and I still haven't seen the ending because of this. Yes I'm stubborn, but I want to experience the game with my choices.
