How does it compare to Kopanito?
I'm really enjoying Kopanito apart from supermoves, those can really spoil the fun for me. If any of you own both games and can shed some light on how they are similar and/or different, I'd be very grateful.

i bought Kopanito some time ago and I refunded because it was too shallow for me... I have almost 3 hours now in Picel cup Soccer.

I wanted to give Kopanito a try as well but I didnt like the idea of supermoves. The core game looked great outside of that. I'm hoping this is closer to what I want from this type of experience.

Yeah, it's a bit shallow (no fouls, no extra time, no penalties) but it's great fun, esp. with local multiplayer. Well, apart from the redundant superpowers. Anyway, I'll probably end up buying this game as well, just wanted to hear some opinions.

I recomend u to just buy it, play it for less than 2 hours and think (u can always refund ^_^)

Well... Kopanito sure is great, but quite like its main inspiration Nintendo World Cup, it's for those looking for a more madcap brawling action soccer. PCS17 has a more classic coin-op arcade soccer feel, so far with no fouls or offsides, it seems, but indeed more "soccer-sim-esque", no superpowers, in-field obstacles or knocking players out.

In terms of options, everything on PCS17 is based in real stuff: there are all Uefa Euro '16 and Copa America Centenario stadiums (as well as some Uruguayan and original ones), as well as schedules and rosters, not only for those but also for last years' Women's World Cup and the ongoing male and female Olympic Tournament. And as far as I snooped around on the local files, the top level of European and Panamerican domestic leagues and continental club tournaments may be added.

This sentence describes perfectly the game: ¨PCS17 has a more classic coin-op arcade soccer feel¨. I would say that, if you ask me, this game to remain dynamic/arcade, will never have free kicks, and yellow/red cards. But many players (myself included) love the strategy behind having red cards and not being able to use those players in your next match ina a league! Let´s see, maybe in the future we put an option for having or not free kicks and cards...
And yes, we plan to release domestic leagues from many countries...

What if you had an option between Arcade and Sim rules. It doesn't have to be overboard, but it could be an option that you could toggle that would penalize you for doing certain things.

Agreed, like tackles from the back should have a "good" probability to trigger [foul, injury, card] (maybe not a straight red card, or based on the player tackle skill).

I hope your editing tool will be able to create custom tournament rules, so we can have few divisions in the same country. Although the game is too easy for now and probably no one will ever be relegated, rotation of teams within the league is always welcome. And please remember to add qualifications to main tournaments like Euro and World Cup (including seeding :P).

This is more complicated. A first step will be to have all possible leagues for all the countries (with the help of the community), and after that the ability to have divisions and rotation of teams.

That is exactly the way we intended to do this. The mix between arcade/real has to be simple. But a proper manager mode can not be made without having yellow/red cards and of coure free kicks! I want the game to remain arcade, but if with an option you can select between playing arcade/real, it´s ok!
