Wrong textures on steamdeck

Hi, I've been playing a bit on steamdeck and game plays great, there's just graphical issue like this:

i have the same problem on steam deck, can you tell me if you find a fix?

Dont think it can be fixed without dev intervention. I sent email to frozenbyte asking them to look at it though.

are you on windows? because i am, on linux it did work with different proton version

I havent meddled with steamdeck options at all, so I'm running on defaults

Setting Compatibility to Proton Experimental fixes the texture problem, though the font will still look a little bit weird.

How to do:
Go to the game's page and hit the COG icon to the right edge, then Properties near the bottom in the menu that appears.
Select the Compatibility menu on the left side panel.
Ensure the "Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool" is ticked.
From the dropdown box that appears select Proton Experimental.

do you know how to fix this on windows steam deck too?

I've only just started playing this game for the first time this week, and I saw this thread. For anyone who had issues before, I'm playing Has-Been Heroes on my Steam Deck, and the textures look fine now (March 2023). Looks like one of the Proton updates or the devs must have fixed it.
