Please let us know if you are still encountering recurring crashes.
Is this available for Xbox and PS4?
I have all three versions.
Devs, Are You reading focus forums? There are some balance request posts and content ideas.
Hello, we've never been able to reproduce your issue, the mouse cursor never recenter itself on our side. Can you be more specific on your hardware configuration?
I may have reproduce it, it seems to be linked to the Start menu somehow, I'll try to investigate it
Hello, this is what I can find:
- Mouse cursor recenters when the cursor is locked (choosing an orientation with a TM or entering a blip spawn with in GS)
However the real issue is the cursor that is reappearing and stay on screen:
- If you're doing a mouse input and then a controller input
- If you open the menu, close it and then select an unit
But in those cases on my side, the cursor disappears by itself after 2 actions which recenter the cursor (for example, if I play GS and I have a visible cursor, it will disappears if I enter 2 times in a blip spawn).
Don't hesitate to tell me if this is what you witness or if you have more specific symptoms
The fastest way to repeat it I've found is:
1. Start the game
2. Create any skirmish mission
3. Mission starts
4. Move the select box (with controller) to deploy area
5. Push controller A button to select deploy area
6. At this moment the mouse cursor shows itself at the center of the screen
(7. Press B to deselect deploy area - the mouse cursor is still at the center)
(8. Select deploy area again by pressing A - cursor hides itself).
If it would hide itself (at point 8) and stay hidden it wouldn't be a big problem. The problem is that it reappears again and again during the gameplay. Even if I move it to the screen border, it reappears and recenters itself.
I've even disconnected the mouse cable, with no difference.
I don't know if there is something specific in my configuration that would help. It's Win10, mouse, keyboard, xbox controller (no other controllers). Game is running in borderless 1920x1200, all ultra (no difference in fullscreen).
Here's a similar problem: https://steamcommunity.com/app/492230/discussions/0/3393916911753701188/

Why don't you do something like:
- if controller is used (any key or movement) then hide the mouse cursor (why do I need the cursor visible when using controller?)
- if keyboard or mouse is used (any key or movement) then show the mouse cursor.
BTW I just had SM AI suicide(?) it's heavy flamer for no good reason at all (it didnt take any enemy with it). It had GS a bit away in both directions of a corridor. It turned around, fried 1 GS, and then later in the turn killed itself. IMO it should first have fired, then turned, and then fired again, to kill and block off enemies in both directions. That way I still would need to actually kill it as well as it killing more than 1 GS. Also, the suicide didnt leave the area burning, which I assume is a bug.
