We have some Salamanders fans here in the studio, but we're mostly known to be a bunch of heretics :p
Joke aside, we want to give you a good experience when playing Terminators. We could've gone the lazy way and release many chapters as colors/textures pack swaps, but we know that players are smarts (and dedicated to their favourite chapters) and would eventualy feel that this is just a trick to fake "large content" and release a lot of screenshots. And also, we in the studio would've felt really bad by doing this kind of things.
That's why we had to chose 4 chapters to begin with - and we hope you'll have at least one you do not despise.
By limiting chapters at first, we could produce nice visual content (each chapter has its own set of emblems, patterns, and body parts, in addition to the common set for all chapters) and provide substantial gameplay differences between them, especially by having different card decks.
We still have a lots of ideas we'd like to work on - some of them related to chapters - so we might one day be able to give you people the chapters you want.
Fear not, for one day you might wake up and find that your favourite chapters have found their way into Space Hulk: Tactics.
I really liked your answer. Looking forward to it. I couldn't find the game for pre-order on ps store, any word about that?
What I can tell you however, is that the PS4/X1 versions run just as fine as the PC version, so you will not have to wait one more year than your PC-master-race friends :D
I'm a SP fan since freaking long : blood angels are my favourite chapter above any other simply because they are the best of them all ;) but I like Salamanders too... and ultras but they're already in the game. Bytheway I'm glad with your choice to developp each chapter as an original one, but just so you know I'm fairly sure to buy a Salamanders DLC asa available.
Keep up the good work :)
They were in the WH40K Space Marine DLC.

I love the Salamanders.
Exhuming old threads is meh, I know, but Salamanders have had a DLC in Spache Hulk: Ascencion as well.
