your issue sounds a lot like that the sound libary ns2 uses (fmod ex) is not compatible with your sound device's driver. In that case there isn't much we can do. I did run into very similair issues with a Alienware laptop in the past and had to use a usb headset to work around the issue.
But feel free to post your tech_support.zip and I'll take a closer look. If you are crashing please save the crash dump id and post it here as well.
I reset my computer completely, which reinstalled all drivers and applications that did not come with the computer, and this seemed to fix the audio problem.
I think that the crash logs were deleted, but if they weren't, ill try to post them so you can figure out the problem.
If possible, could you give me the file in which they would be kept?
