Sound not working, crash logs and dump
I recently got NS2 to play, as i had previously played it (and greatly enjoyed it), but no audio seems to come at all from the game. I have checked and troubleshooted my PC's audio, and it is working fine. I've noticed alot of people say to select your headphones as your output device in the game's options, but for me it stays on default and i cannot change it.
Another thing, every time i close the game, a crash log starts running and every single time it comes up with "unable to send data to peers", does anyone know what that means?
I use an ASUS ROG gaming notebook, which is practically new, and i've unistalled and reinstalled the game twice now.
EDIT: On the options screen on the main menu, the notification of "Game restart required" is still there, even after i've restarted the game like 10 times, in one session i've played the audio worked, and the game was running properly, then all of a sudden this starts happening

Hi,

your issue sounds a lot like that the sound libary ns2 uses (fmod ex) is not compatible with your sound device's driver. In that case there isn't much we can do. I did run into very similair issues with a Alienware laptop in the past and had to use a usb headset to work around the issue.

But feel free to post your tech_support.zip and I'll take a closer look. If you are crashing please save the crash dump id and post it here as well.

Thanks for your reply, but the issue is now fixed.
I reset my computer completely, which reinstalled all drivers and applications that did not come with the computer, and this seemed to fix the audio problem.
I think that the crash logs were deleted, but if they weren't, ill try to post them so you can figure out the problem.
If possible, could you give me the file in which they would be kept?

The crash dump should be in %appdata%/Natural Selection 2/dumps saved as lastcrash.zip
