I can't dowland the game Bioschock Infinite

i cant dowland this game
-Disk write error
-steam/steamapps/dowlanding/8870/XGame/CookedPCConsole_FR/WorldTextures1 / 2 / 3.tfc

something is up with this file i think. i already tried deinstalling it and installing , i tried deleting the file that the dowland would fix it but still nothing

Hi,

this isn't the bioshock tech support forum. So i'm closing this thread. But what you describe is a common issue with steam failing to remove a file lock. You may be able to fix the issue following these steps:

1. Stop the download
2. Close steam and make sure it's fully shut down via the process explorer.
3. Open (steam install path)\steamapps\common\ in your explorer (default install path is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam)
4. Make sure you see all hidden elements via view -> check show hidden elements
5. Delete any file and folder related to bioshock. Most likely there is a lock file in the common folder causing the download to fail.
6. Restart steam and retry the download.
