Console command to show fps ingame?

make sure you put the space between status and 1. Should work.

You can find the key to open the console in your keybinds in the in-game options.

The command to display fps and render statistics is r_stats.
You can also type in net_stats to display networking statistics.

Ive always used r_stats. Im not sure if r_stats 1 is different, but without the one it displays FPS, along with how much VRAM your using, and if youre waiting on your gpu or cpu. pretty useful. I wish I could change the screen position of it though. it blocks my minimap, the top right hand corner would be a lot better.

Is there a CC that only shows FPS and not the rest of the information?

I'm not a fan of how R Stats_1 blocks a sizable amount of the screen.

can use external programs like fraps,dxtory,msi afterburner and use the fps overlay

yeah it does hinder being able to use the minimap very well. It'd be nice just to show fps or atleast move it to the upper-right hand of the screen.|

but yeah I use gamebooster's fps overlay these days
