Calling the current playerbase "people" is highly debatable, but other than that, yes there are still a playerbase playing this game. Albeit barely 200 players on a busy day.

I got nothing better to do so I tried playing NS22 recently and there were only like 2 populated eu servers I think. Bad server which didn't let me play because I was rank 5 and the onos bar (?) which was either full or had trouble starting games due to constant restarts, mapvotes and stuff. I'd rather waste my time actually playing video games not sitting around waiting for rounds to start.
