Ping problems!

So i bought natural selection about 2 weeks ago and i had no problems with ping. Most of the servers were in the "green". But for few days i can't really find any servers that are "green". I have ping from 150-300 in most servers but it wasn't like that before. I've tried closing anything that might cause extra traffic on my computer but nothing helps. What could be the problem?

http://www.speedtest.net/ to make sure your internet's fine. Also what region do you live in? Maybe at that specific time there were no active servers near you. Also have a look at your server filters, my server browser loads hundreds of servers but only a small handful show up due to the filters I have set.
