i have a 6870 with a 2.4 dual core and 4gb of ram. it runs.....but you more then likely wont have fun. i have fun at times but i just rage wuit and may not play for a while untill i order new hardware, when it runs good its a blast tho/ late game when people rush base and have nades blowing up and gun fire and people going crazy i drop frames to like 8 :[
Run.. yes.. play.. no.. Its a very cpu clock speed heavy game.

Also juswt because you can polay Crysis, doesnt mean you cna play another.

It probaly just shows that the games these days arnt as well optimized as Crysis 2 .
It's not that, Crysis is C++ based, NS2 is Lua based.
C++ is compliled to machine code before it is launched.
Lua is interperpeted, which means it has to be translated as the game is running.

Get a better CPU.

I have a 6770 and I am running it at 40-60 FPS on HIGH and 1600x900 (native).

So is my laptop incapable of running this game ? will i have decent FPS and actually enjoy playing the game ?

This has got nothing to do about optimisation. Your CPU will be a bottleneck.

You can play but very low tbh

Dont think you will get higher then 40 FPS on low

Do not buy this game. Its a great concept but so far from what NS1 was to gaming. They should have stuck with the source enigne, they would have been famous and got rich. Do not buy this game it runs horribly.

I do agree with that, even Titanfall plays on the source engine and that plays like a beauty.
But gameplay wise its still a blast!

Doubtful. Intelligent shooting games basically never get that popular. The RTS crowd tends to stick with the RTS and the FPS tend to live the mindless death match. Forcing the two together doesn't result in popular games.

How many people are attracted to the often low K:D gorge who can turn games as opposed to the giant Exo who needs constant babysitting?

And the game runs decently on decent hardware. The stated recommended hardware is an outright joke, but if you have an i5 or high end i3 with a relatively new video card, it will run fine at medium settings.

the GPU might get away at medium with some high settings but that is not what you really should be worried about. at this point it seems that the game is very processor heavy and demands like a quad cor proccessor that is at lease 3.0 or above. with the rescent optimizations the game still has major struggles in performance department

if you noticed i had a second post please note that the steam hub isnt working properly on my computer and is very slow. i might have clicked it more than once.

you need an i3 clocked at least 4 ghz to run this game smoothly. so no 2.x ghz is not nearly enough. Especially if its an older i3 and especially not when its a mobile version of the CPU.
