ns2 bot trouble?

Hey there so i was really wanting to play with some bots so i dont get my ass kicked online but every time i go to make a game with bots it says that i need to check my game cache or a new update came out and its really ♥♥♥♥ blocking my way to playing with some bots can any one give a resonable explantion as to why it offers you the chance to play with bots but dosent work? ?(yes i have validated and updated)

Note, the Bots are broken
MarinesBots don't follow orders and have an aimbot
AlienBots, are just stupid, in that they rush you every time.
