if you have Half-Life - go for it. Not sure if there are any servers, but if there's people playing The Specialists every now and then - I'm sure there's folks playing N-S.

No, there had been no servers for years. The last server was Al gorge's server and it has been down for years now. Too bad i really enjoyed it and i think the only available was combat or co server before everyone stopped playing. I don't understand i had a lot fun. There are too many games being released today the market is saturated. I remember in the 1990s you were lucky to get more than 15-20 games a year on pc.

There is a small Natural Selection 1 Community that plays regularly gathers (organized 6vs6).
They've worked on the Game and fixed the most recent bugs.
