Question about conflicting datachunks (yelllow)
Is there a way to know which one is the correct one?
Or there is no correct one, and it's a "choose your story" kind of thing?

As far as I know it's up to you as the analyst to decide which of the different conflicting information you want to upload to Orwell for further analysis. I think(!) there are also correct ones (for example the broken friendship in episode 1). You're probably also be able to "protect" your subject by uploading a conflicting data chunk of which you know it doesn't reflect the correct information but doesn't implicate your subject (for example when you think he/she is wrongfully accused or you're getting attached to him/her).

The idea is it forces you, as an investigator, to determine the truth from very limited information. Just like we all make snap judgements about people based on their tweets, when we most likely don't understand the full context if that makes sense?

There is no right and wrong. Just your play experience :)

@Hellerphant so does that mean that no matter how much I'll dig into the information available at that moment I won't be able to reliably correctly resolve the conflicting chunks?

If you hover the mouse over the datachunk, it says where the conflicts are, and whether there's a conflict you haven't seen yet.

@Hellerphant If it's not too late to do so, I suggest that you remove the unknown conflict feature, or atleast make some of these conflicts time limited in future, as I was able to hold off on deciding whether to find where a plot event would occur for a very long time and it confuses me as to why.

@LULZDOSH my chunks were all known. Basically I had only two unprocessed chunks left that contradict each other and I couldn't find any information that would let me make an informed decision.

Dig for more information and try to find supporting evidence. In my opinion, people express their true feelings privately where they think no one is listening.
