Email address when creating your Orwell Account

Is this just meant to be an in-game email you make up, or are you meant to use a real working email address for this?

It's meant to be your real mail address. We only use it to mail you when a new episode releases, but feel free to leave it blank if you don't want to subscribe or don't feel good about it.

Thanks - I wasn't clear about it, so I put in an address that matched my game profile, but I'll start again and put in a live address - thanks for the quick response.
The first episode was great, btw - I felt uncomfortable every time I had to send a datachunk, because I knew there was a bigger picture I wasn't seeing yet - and sending the wrong thing now could have serious consequences for these characters lives - the immersion level is stellar.

Btw, you don't need to start a new game to subscribe, it's enough to create the profile and then delete it after the registration is complete. The subscription will persist until you unsubscribe in one of the mails. Of course you're welcome to start over if you like to ;).

I know its probably just to make the game be more reallistic and "surveillancy", but I feel very weird, when clicking the i agree button, because the terms of agreement are not clear. Do I acctually agree to something when pressing the button or is it just a game element. If its just a game element, well done because it goes perfectly with your game topic.

Just wanted to say great game (is it accually a game?). I guess now I have a lot of thinking in front of me, I already think about the mistakes I made, although I guess I did pretty good and wasn't doing anything I'd say was absolutly wrong, just somethings could ahve been prevented.

Well the problem for you is now that you have the most paranoid customer base. ;)

Just in addition to a long dead thread; I have recently bought the game myself.

Glad to hear the email is just for updates, have been scanning my emails worried I was going to get a strange email from Orwell or find out I'm being tracked in the game or something!

Really enjoying the game so far!
