Motion Controllers needed ?

I would to play it with my DK2 so I don't have the 2 oculus motion controllers and I'd like to know if they are absolutely needed to play the game(cause I've seen steam displays keyboard, controller or motion controllers)

Linkus Studio: No, no need for motion controller. I believe you can play it with DK2. Zero-G can be played with the xbox controller that comes with Oculus. Did your DK2 came with Xbox controller included? Tomorrow as soon as I hit the office I will make sure. So, I recommend you to wait till them to be 100% sure.

No but I have xbox360 or xboxOne, on the video it seems the motion controllers are useless, anyway it's only 2€40. So far my DK2 runs everygame even the supposed vive exclusives but when Controllers are needed like IKEA VR I can't play. The problem with VR is that instead of having free demos and expensive games, the games are cheap but they are demos.

Linkus Studio: The controller we have in the office is a Xbox One controller. Here at home for me the same... I cannot try with my old xbox 360 controller because I don´t have it here. But for sure Xbox One controller works.

Magemo, about the pricing I think it will be like this for a little while till we fully control this new technology. And please, check out the latest update on the news community panel to read the letter we wrote today. Maybe it can help you.

Magemo, yesterday I was really busy at the office preparing the new update coming, sorry for not replying you in time. We played with a Xbox 360 controller, it wasn't the official controller, we have a madcatz version of the xbox 360 controller and it was working fine. We believe it should be fine for you to play with DK2 and the xbox 360 controller you have.
