navigation lights?
maybe a silly question, but especially in multiplayer scenarios with multiple boats, is there a way to toggle the navigation lights of the submarine on/off?

the lamps themselves are really nicely modeled, but i haven't found a way to turn them on yet, and i think i might be missing the switch somewhere, like how one can switch the interior light from day to night next to the ladder.
without those lights i've been using the flashlight at times for similar effect though that is hardly optimal haha.

Other than heading into port, the nav lights would be light out. Turning them on will alert you to the enemy, this goes for the escorts as well as the Uboats.

There at current in game is no switch for the navlights. Though if there were, it would be on the bridge, same for the corvette. I would think that eventually all things will be in functional order, after all, we plan for a world map.

i agree on that they can be a risk and are generally turned off to avoid being spotted by air or seagoing vessels, however these lights are used situational besides near port such as when in convoy or other (dark or fog) situations that may require them if that situation doesn't compromise the safety of the vessels included.

as a sidenote when functional it would be equally nice that when enemy planes get introduced and you turn these lights on at night/fog to coordinate with other player vessels this also increases the chance of you being spotted by a enemy plane or surface vessel within reason.

fair enough, at least i am not missing something then so i can stop looking for something that simply isn't there. (flashlight it is haha)

also same for the corvette? i thought that ship hasn't been introduced yet as being playable and won't be for quite some time either?
EDIT: weekly update says you are finalizing the model, so, damn... guess it's soon(tm) upon us, nice work.

I think it would be a nice little extra feature to have and play around with... It would be a nice tool to have if you were purposely trying to get someone's attention.
