How to join multiplayer game

Hi guys,

I'm pretty new to this so sorry if this is a stupid question. But when I try and start a new lobby via my own network other players join without an issue. However if I try and join another lobby I get to the screen where you choose your station in the sub base and press "start mission" but nothing happens. I hear other plays talking but my screen doesn't leave the sub base. I dont get any loading screen etc or anything. So I can host a game i just cant seem to join an unlocked lobby game hosted by someone else..

I chose my station, click "start mission" but nothing else happens.

Any help appreciated. I'm sure there's just something really obvious im not doing!

That's unusual. Not a stupid question at all. The lobby you are trying to join does not have a password? Have you tried quitting the game entirely then rejoining?

For me this is a common bug in the game. Quitting and rejoining mostly fix this problem. It has nothing to do with passwords. It can happen at any time.

Hi guys,

There is no password on the game or the sub that I try to join. Tried quitting the game before but I still have the same issue. I'm just unable to join any game which is hosted by someone else sadly. Nice to know im not the only one though! I'll try again at some point and try exiting the game and rejoining to see if it helps. Hopefully the bug gets resolved soon

Hi, thanks for your response. Sorry I'm not the most computer savy person! Can you tell me how to find the log file and I'll send it over to you.

Also just to confirm, the other day I successfully joined another hosts game by trying to join, quitting the entire game and restarting and then attempting to rejoin as was suggested by Kanonenfutter.
