Radio Direction Finder - Working Yes/No?

Does the RDF work. I can't find any guides or references to say whether it's functioning or not. Secondly if it is functional does anyone have a tutorial for it at all?

You should only be able to lower the loop-antenna if it is obstructing the periscopes/Uzo. There should be a switch on the wall in the radioroom

To what extent the RDF is not functioning is not fully known. But the devs have said some time after initial release that the AI merchants and escorts do not send radio transmissions yet. So there is nothing to detect from your prey at the moment. It would imply that it works already if you can detect friendly radio transmissions. But sofar no one has reported it so the RDF is likely not completely functional.
