If you want the cheat to work without money going negative then you need to take into
account the 'balance of money distribution' on the F9 screen that defaults to

one fifth autobuild, two fifths production,research.

so instead of searching for 50000 search for 20000

as a side note a few years ago i found once you find the displayed cash value the same way you did
after you alter it to 999999 if you goto the F9 screen and change the triangle balance it intergrates
the displayed cash value into the 3 sections so no more negative money.
