Will not launch

I'm pretty lost, the game won't start and doesn't give any error message, and it never performed first time setup. I can't find anything to help, it seems like I'm the only person on windows 10 having a problem. I have a lot of issues with old games not working.

Unfortunately that isn't working for me, is there anything I should be entering into the launch options? I think I just need an actual pc, this old laptop is nearing the end. I never have problems on my brothers newer setup.

The last couple times I have installed it, it won't launch from Steam either. I am on a newly rebuilt Linux box. The last time I tried was on Linux that I had been using for some time and likely needed a clean build. Not sure what is going on. This is one of my all time favorite games.

What are your laptops specs.

I am trying to run this on a fresh install of Win 7 and it won't open, I don't even get an error message, it just doesn't do anything. Any ideas please?

ok, I am so dumb. I just needed to update the graphics drivers and it was fine.
