Kaileron ressurect & other questions (possible spoilers).

Hello !

Many many years ago I played this wonderful game & I remember that I saw a cinematic (in Shinari campaign ? Don't remember) about ressurection of Kaileron (that guy from the intro).
So, I complete Shinari campaign both ways (allied with evil bastards & solarians) & I never see that movie.
What I'm doing wrong ?

& one more question about Solarian campaign.
I found all four crystals & get data report from them.
My adviser told me about testing colonies, big secret of the universe & something about brotherhood threat.
After that I defeat BIG & SCARY alien race & that's all - I win the campaign.
So - am I missing something or this the end of the Solarian plot ? Any confrontation with brotherhood ?

& the last one - I remember that 'special' button in reseach screen must contain more than one invention ...

I was never able to finish the story stuff in any of my original games of IG2.. I'd get a few videos then it would all stop. I'd wait for ages but nothing so I'd just give up and kill off the computer players wining the game to the regular way.

Now that I've bought the steam copy I'm going to try again for the first time in like 16yrs lol so I'm eager to hear tips for triggering story events from people especially on the Solarian stuff. Hate missing out on stuff lol!!

First of all - play on normal or hard.
You get more events.
Easy mode - it's just like big tutorial.

Second - never destroy other races completely if it is not plot event of course.

dude @edward camby , even if you are playing on normal or hard , Kra'hen rekts all of the races

Just beat Hard with Shinari and somehow missed the cinematic,couldn't find it anywhere. Thanks for this.
