I'd not pay any more than $40 AUD for this.

£22 for me would be ok, possibly. Depends on the reviews though. If it's completeable in one day that is a lot of money ....

But its not going to be an hour or two - more like 8-12 hrs I suspect, maybe more with the sandbox. But £22 would require around 44 hrs of playability for me .... if the story is a completely linear experience, as it seems from the demo, not sure I would get that degree of playability out of it myself.

Lots of games to play and no time .....

So it's replay-ability past 20 hours is not going to be fun?

The replayability for me is the procedcurally randomised crimes to go out and play with, similar to Watch Dogs or Spiderman.

Tho if you give it a few days, CheatEngine or WeMod will also whip out ways to make the game even more fun if you wish.
