Help with after High Hrothgar? (SPOILERS)
It's been a long time since I beat this game, and I don't remember the last time I did it too well. Either way I got my ass kicked by Alduin like as if he just slapped me off the cliff 20 times on top of High Hrothgar. (I still managed to beat him in less than fashionable way...don't ask me how xD)

I think it's because I'm still to low level, someone help me out here what's a good level to approach the next fights? Because if I recall correctly you're approaching the end of the game by that fight.

I wanted to delay rushing through, but because these dragons are such a menace I wanted a way to kill them sooner, I don't know.

The fight is not overly difficult if you're levelled your character properly, and if you have good equipment. If in doubt, stock up on potions.

Post some details about your build, then we shall see.

skyrim is the baby game of the TES games man im not trying to be mean but i dont really know what to tell you

just get good at enchanting and you'll be good man and just craft a bunch of healing potions

honestly alchemy and enchanting should get you through

Okay :cozyskyrimvr:
The main quest is balanced for the players level and you can beat it the main quest without needing to be a level requirement you should be able to finish the rest of the quests at you're current level as they are balanced. And the dragons in the Skyrim world will still spawn after completing the main quest they will not stop spawning after completing main quest of Skyrim, or did you mean to get dragonrend so fighting dragons will be easier? I think that for unlocking dragonrend you do not need to complete the last quest in the main quest to get it, you only need to complete the quest Alduin's Bane for dragonrend shout and all three words will be unlocked in Alduin's Bane.:orb:

My build? Right now my level is 22, the main trees I have are:
Heavy Armor:
1 point on 25% bonus armor
3 points on the first for (60 armor)

Two Handed:
3/4 points on the first one for damage
2 points on the bleed tick for axes
1 point for each of the middle ones up to the one where you cleave with each swing

Archery:
1 point

Smithing:
4 points

Restoration:
1 point

Sneaking:
1 point

Speech:
1 point

Enchanting :
1 point (I think i chose this one by accident)

I don't know if I'm doing this right

Yeah this is what I wanted, I didn't know the main quest scales to your level though I thought it was all set in stone. I think that just means I need to get stronger. Q,Q

On the top of the mountain use the word wall as a shield. Poke out, shoot him, when he starts to use his fire attack go back behind it. Just like any other dragon when you have access to cover. Repeat until dead.

Last fight.
The last fight with Alduin is even easier, he will only attack the champions that's with you so you can stand back and poke him with arrows or just watch. Avoid meteors if you have low HP. And he will die.

The hardest part with the entire Q chain is prob the Dragonpriest if you are low level.

Good enough. Still, you need to improve your armor with smithing, and get some magical resistance as well. The atronach or the lord stones might be a good start.

That's good enough as well, at least for close combat.

That's a bit lacking, against dragons, you should get better ranged capabilites.

Not relevant in this case. Sneak could've been sacrificed in favor of archery.

Speech is pointless, at least in vanilla. This point could've been invested in archery as well.

Also a bit lacking, unless you play on "adept" difficulty, or lower. Then, simply skip the whole skill, and focus on smithing instead.

Your build is good enough, but you need to work on improving magical protection and your ranged capabilites.

Alright I'll do that, thanks for the feedback! :steamhappy:

If you start a new game, there are no dragons until you see the yarl in Whiterun. Raise your skills before going to the yarl and it will be easier to fight the bad guys.

No, you need to complete the Quest at the watchtower for Dragons to start appearing.
