character model is transparent

My characters model suddenly became transparent, the only thing I can see clearly are the eyes, hair and beard. Whenever I change equipment the character model comes back, but when I close the menu it goes back to being transparent. Using Become Ethereal also makes the character model come back, and longer than with the previously mentioned incident, but it then becomes transparent again after a second or two after the become ethereal effect ends. and the way it goes back to being transparent makes me think of a magical effect in place as it sort of fades into transparency. there are no magical effects in place that would make such an effect.

I am but I was playing with this modlist for about 4 hours before this bug came up. and this is the first time seeing this bug. I've played in a different save file for 10 hours with the modlist and it never came up in that
