Had the dwarf/robotic horse .. but.. XD
Hiya is there a way to avoid to lose your robot dwarf horse? I had it but somehow did a quest by accident for the wild horses and it got replaced..
Just so in my next run... Have to do a next run of course I will avoid that..

Thanks for answers!

It should have gone back to its original location perhaps?

I looked there but it wasnt there.. I mean original location is by that freaking long place but the thing is after all the search for it in that winter/summer/spring/fall xD just for the parts to the dwarven horse... It was just such an annoying thing to lose...

Do you think it got replaced by the wild horse somehow and got deleted from my game?

According to uesp, the dwarven horse always stays at the last location you left it, unless you own Hendraheim, in which case the dwarven horse spawns there.

Your best bet is to retrace your steps and return to the place(s) you were before the wild horses quest.

Actually the Dwarven horse will be where you got off it.
Simply go to where you got off it to get a wild horse and it will still be there.

Its not in hendraheim, only that wild horse is there btw...

The journal for the Dwarven horse refers to assembling it from pieces inside Vardnknd. I'd check there too... on the exterior for the horse. Runoff caverns (southwest of Hendraheim) might be the actual name on the map.

Thats the first place I looked but wasn't there.. anyway I just started a fresh play to grind the horse again which took too long XD its the least nice dungeon as its just too big on purpose to just take too much time to complete.. but if I want dwarven horsie back no choice but to do it again

For crying out loud, go to where you got off the bloody Dwarven Horse, it will be there nearby.

Already started another play through so now I know just to avoid the stupid wild horse quest

wild horses quest is fine, it's just that the dwarven horse stays where you got off it, so you need to use another horse, so it goes back to where it should, rather than being at a random spot on the map.

You are very likely able to just buy a stable horse, and then ride it and fast travel somewhere. Instead of redoing the play through, the dwarven horse wouldn't just dissapear but very likely reset to Run Off. Your call, I have a lot of horses and they frequently reset to their original location and stables or the wild. None magically lose ownership and stolen horses probably do not count to reset and follow you. One thing you could have tried is summon the Daedric horse (if avialable) and ride it and then fast travel somewhere and return to Run Off or Hendraheim or other stables.
