Nordic carved armor... at the game start???

I just watched some youtuber playing the Skyrim for the first time and i saw something i never saw before. When she talked to Gerdur as intended, she received gift. A 2 pieces of full nordic carved armor, the bow, 250 arrows and shield, among all other stuff. Can someone tell me if this is some kind of glitch? Because i never experienced that and the youtuber doesn't seem to have any mods installed. That stuff is a mid game, how this is possible?

Nope, you're normally given some low-level stuff, nothing as grand. It has to be a mod.

There wasn't even any message about receiving anything aside from a key. She probably picked it up before.

But how do you explain Gerdur having it? Also maybe the girl playing oldrim, not SE.

I have no idea where she got that armor from. Did she pick it up before? Probably. Did Gertrud give it to her? There was no such message. Was it in her house? Then, it would have the "stolen" tag.

I literally give you a timestamp, where you see that Gerdur have it in her inventory for free gift. Go there and stop saying that she already picked it up before. Also i don't believe she have any mod, she don't look like she is skilled gamer.

probably mod I mean there are lots of mods that give you goodies at helgen or riverwood That said i've never seen with Gerdur or Alvor.

It has to be a mod I mean I have done that part countless times never saw that highlevel stuff let alone 2 pieces

In general it's very rare that armor is in their inventory full stop.

Ah, yes, she does. Missed that part.

Then it's definitely a mod. Whatever's in her inventory comes from a levelled list, and carved nordic can only appear there after level 18. Even then, Gertrud has a "commoner" levelled list, she's not supposed to get arms&armor. Normally, she would have only some food, a dagger, a few misc items like a lockpick, maybe a potion, and a levelled amount of gold coins. I've never seen anything other than that.

There is maybe just one way to find it out. I will ask her about it in the comment section under her vid, if she have mod or something. She didn't say anything about the installation till now. Also no commenter seems to be bothered by that, like it's normal or something.

when asked, this is what they said about the nordic carved armor: "i’m playing on someone else’s account and i know they said they have just some aesthetic mods on and i think they had some others too but we turned them off after this episode, i didn’t know there were mods enabled"

The last time I recall ever getting my hands on Nordic Carved Armor was in Solsteim(sp) while playing the Dragonborn add-on. (hint)
