Sunhelm waterskin/bottles not filling

I've recently wanted to get back into this and I have all the required installations for this. Everything else works but I can't fill my waterskin and it says I need to stand in water to fill my bottles but I've walked/swam anywhere from the shore of this river to the middle and it says the same thing. Any help?

Make sure that powerofthree's Papyrus Extender with it's dependencies are installed correctly and up to date.

You have to press a key as well as standing in water. You can change which key in the MCM, I can't remember what the default is. I have it set to to K - but you can set it to any key that is not being used for something else.

Also keep in mind that water mods can block that feature ... often that will only work with vanilla or nearly vanilla water so not with realistic water 2, etc

Mainly because there was a ton of these threads about a year ago.
The problem is you have to stand in a specific zone in the rivers and streams, which can be a very thin line....
