Dimhollow Crypt Exit Crash Workaround fix
This is for anyone that has this problem in the future.
I was constantly crashing when trying to exit Dimhollow Crypt.
This was in my crash log:

Code: 0xc0000005.
Address: SkyrimSE.exe+0xc0c32a.
Memory at 0x0 could not be read.

I found an old post containing a workaround over at neoseeker:
1. While in the crypt, type "getstage dlc1vq02" to verify that you are in stage "6.0"
2. Then, type "setstage dlc1vq02 8" and close the console.
3. Open the console and select Serana. Make sure you select her and not some of the background!
4. Type "coc dlc1vampirecastleguildhall" to teleport into the castle.
5. With Serana still selected (teleporting doesn't deselect her), type "moveto player" to move her into the castle.
6. Serana should immediately start moving through the room. If she does, check "getstage dlc1vq02" - the stage should now be "10.0" if everything worked right.

Frankly, I would look to find which mod or load order issue was causing this rather than using the console. But that's just me.

I have never experienced this, not in Oldrim and not in SSE. Instead of using a workaround, I would rather try to find the culprit, whatever it is. Something could be messing with the quest, the area around Dimhollow Crypt, Serana or something else. If something is interfering with this quest and the quest's references, it may not only cause issues with this quest but also quests later in the Dawnguard questline, depending on what caused the issue.

Do you have a follower? Do you have any mods that alter Dimhollow Crypt or Serana?

EDIT: What Wizard wrote! Also a wrong load order may cause issues. Use the console as a VERY LAST resort!

Eh, I've had this happen in Oldrim a lot.
Usually fixed it by waiting an hour before walking outside.

That "workaround" is simply avoiding a problem instead of fixing it. I wouldn't recommend this approach. Besides, it is as generic as it could be, so not really worth mentioning.

1. Sort your files.
2. Check if you have patches for all your mods.

The error Code: 0xc0000005 means that Windows has no idea what happened, we need the full log file. Post your mod list as well.

Guys, this post is not an ask for help.
I really appreciate everyone trying to help me but I am good with just this! Really! Thanks though!
It is just a WORKAROUND.
This is for people that might face this problem and are looking for a quick fix.

Here are the steps I went though before making the post :
1. Used a crash logger to get the error code and the missing instance game is referring to, which turns out .net script framework and crash logs 2 has no idea what it is.
2. Turned off recently installed mods
3. Turned off recently installed mods and ran resaver to clean saves.
4. Turned off mods that I suspected as problematic for the situation (serana dialogue addons and AFT as I had a follower, and no mods related to the crypt) and cleaned my saves using resaver
5. Turned off all mods.
6. Turned off all mods and used resaver to clean my save(s).
7. Uninstalled ENB
8. Ran game w/o skse
9. Went to anniversary edition as I was using bestofbothworlds version
Since nothing worked I went back to bestofbothworlds (AE but @ 1.5.97).
I have played about 1.5 hours of dawnguard quests after this with no issues.

I tried to look up what the 0xc0c32a was referring to in xedit. I did not know where to start and since I couldn't waste the entire evening after work I decided to go for the less time consuming approach as very few people faced the exact same issue.

Again, thanks to everyone who was trying to help! But this is for people who're might end up facing this issue and no apparent fixes work for them.

Well, we're not so much trying to help you, as you've already decided how to handle this. We're advising others who might consider this a solution rather than actually fixing the problem.

In my experience, any crashing involving Dimhollow usually has to do with a mod affecting Serana herself. Your workaround might have gotten her out of the cave, but it's hardly a fix and another problem could pop up any time.

It's your game, so whatever, but when you post bad advice like it's a solution or a fix, you've got to expect folks to speak up.

This is not really a fix, you are simply telling people how to skip a part of the road which contains a "pothole".

None of those steps will do you much good. Instead, you should sort your files, build a bashed patch, then wait until the cells reset. It is likely a mod conflict which produces a faulty instance (i.e. a levelled list tries to place something containing an error). Could be a faulty mesh/texture as well, but that would show up in the log.
