Are you using this skin for your character or for Khajiit NPCs?
Does the skin revert back to its vanilla version, or are you seeing purple bodies?
Are you using a mod manager that does the installing for you or did you manually drop the files into your game folders?
If the skin reverts back to its vanilla state then something you downloaded replaced the mod’s skin files with the original ones.
If you’re seeing purple bodies then something you did is trying to apply the skin but is unable to find the correct files.
What mods did you download and install after this one?
I don’t use this mod but just looking at it it appears that A) you need to be using either the CBBE body or UNP body, and B) it replaces all male/female Khajiit skin textures and will not be compatible with any mods that try and do the same thing.
Are you using the correct body? Did you download and install another body mod other than CBBE or UNP? Did you download and install any mod that alters the appearance of Khajiit or other Khajiit skin textures?
i use the skin for both player and npc and it works for neiter

most of those are argonian mods, but here they are.
i use cbbe and i downloaded the cbbe version.
Vortex should tell you if another mod is overwriting the textures, but a mod the changes the file location will not be detected by Vortex. You will have to find the mod that does that. It will have a plugin file
Find a mod that changes the Khajiit mesh file (it will be a ,nif) Then see if it has its own custom texture
You could try entirely uninstalling the mods you believe could’ve caused it, then reinstall the khajiit skin (right click it, press reinstall, and let it replace existing file), and see if that fixes the issue.
Try this.
Uninstall the ones you think could’ve been responsible (right click on them, hit remove, select remove again but not “delete archive”). They should turn blue and say “not installed”. Then do the same for your Khajiit skin, and install it again. Launch the game and see if it works again.
If it doesn’t, try uninstalling the Kahjiit skin once again, then verify the integrity of the game cache through Steam. If any of Skyrim’s files have been deleted, moved, altered, etc by one of these recent mods - they’ll be restored. Then reinstall the skin and again and check to see if it’s working.

Good luck!
Textures, skins, animations, weapons/armor sets, item replacers, NPC replacers (unless they change the weight of the NPC), and more can be freely added/removed at will with no serious issues.
