You have no body mods installed is what i would guess.
You need a body mod, like CBBE or HIMBO, and some presets that work for that body type, for Obody to distribute them to NPC's.
If using NG version, download this one.
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/85788
If you are on an older version, when on Nexus search obody and look for types for the version you are using.
I do have CBBE as well as some presets. Im not that much of a noob, haha thank you for the reply tho
Yes I am using the NG version that relies on Ostim. Ill give this a try. Thanks for the reply
If I attempt to leave the cell and start the game without that restart, I will see Zero Slider Bodies on all participants.
Another thing to be aware of (and I am not 100% sure of this) is to make sure your paths are correct.
Skyrim Special Edition\Data\CalienteTools\BodySlide\SliderPresets
Hmmm...
Perhaps it's not Obody but instead related to Ostim, since your using that version?
(I use the standalone Obody, so i've not seen that message before)
Have you tried quitting and reloading the game to see if Obody works? Or does it do nothing at all?
They say to do this (Restart after creation) on the mod page for Obody, but im not sure this is OP's issue given we'd see the message too if that were the case.
^ I would check this and make sure they are there just to be sure.
The only other thing it could be, is that the Ostim version tracks people as well? Perhaps it's just telling you no one is being tracked or excluded from Obody's distribution?
- Check Obody NG Port mod
- Check File Paths
- Learn about Ostim and possible tracking of NPCs
I do not use alternate start, so its not that. I have saved and reloaded many times, and Ive tried even starting a whole new game, with no success.
Cheers
Well, did you build your bodies using that preset?
If so, it will do that. they'll all be that until you reload the save. That's an important step. You only need to do this once, after you start your character for the first time. After that, Obody will do it's thing and you won't ever need to touch it.
After that, they'll be a mixture of whatever presets you have installed. This is what Obody does, and it's not a bug or anything. It takes 1 reload of the game to initiate it.
Same goes for males.
I built them all under -zero slider- but i can do it again and see. I would imagine that everyone would have the zero slider preset, but thats not the case; its using a different preset (one I created myself months ago when learning BodySlide).
Will I not be able to use this in games ive already started? Everything else seems to work; I can walk up to anyone and change their preset, its just that everyone has the same one to start. I take back what I said before, I AM that much of a noob
I build them using the "Curvy" slider, which is what most outfit mods like Divine Elegance use/expect.
The Vanilla game gives everyone a weight between 0 and 100, and Obody will use that number and whatever preset it randomly picked to give a body to that NPC, so it's not just randomly picking a preset, but also a variant of that preset based on their vanilla "weight".
With zero'd sliders, both 0 and 100 are the same, so you will have lots of people with the same body that way...
It should be fine to re-run bodyslide. Your only changing meshes, not removing scripts or mods.
Now, im unsure if you need to do so, but if you have Racemenu + Engine fixes, there are a number of edits to the Engine Fixes toml file you need to make, to get Obody to work properly. (Unless they fixed it in the last week or so) If you don't have BOTH the files above, this is irrelevant.
O
And just manually select a body type. You'll eventually get whole towns converted- lol.
