Bossy kid
Hail and well met. My adopted kid keeps sending me a note with the courier telling me to come home. I would like to stop that once a day note message. Unfortunately i can not remember the mod that causes the kid(s) to tell the parent to come home.

Ignore the notes, just throw them away. Treat it like any other 'I'll do that quest later' event.

Bossy kid? What kind of parent leaves a small child alone unattended for days on end in a world rife with thieves, murderers and predators?

Sounds like a 1950s parent. It wasn't all Leave It To Beaver and Father Knows Best.

The parent that has to go out and save Skyrim from those bag things out in the world. The kid(not a name dropper) lives in a castle with guards and tradespeople all around. Never ALONE. Also, I normally enchant and smith up a sword for the kid to carry that could one shot a dragon. Do NOT mess with my kid(s).
You don't leave in a house with a housecarl?
or a steward?
I always have, and have never gotten that note.

If you purchase Breezehome, she will move there instead of the castle.

Or if you escort her to another dwelling you own.
