Barefoot NPC's.
Obviously using mods. Noticed that Olivia or Ofilia Greymane is barefoot, some other femape NPC's too, only the females seem to be affected. Using BD's armor mod and some UNP mods. Hasn't caused that problem in the past.

Anyway, any of you guys had that barefoot issue? got a fix maybe?

Nope. Could be a mod conflict. If you're up for it, this might be the time to learn how to resolve conflicts with XEdit.

Mod authors have exotic tastes these days it's probably fully intended

I fixed the issue, I think it was the AI behavior mod that was a requirement for Blessed by Dibella. but then a reboot later my whole save cluster for that character got corrupted. That's skyrim moding for you, half a hundred interdependant mods just to make the game somewhat enjoyable, one glitches and the whole cardhouse collapses along with your saves. I deleted the whole mod forlder just now and will uninstall Skyrim probably for good this time.

Wait, what? A whole cluster can't get corrupted at once.

It did, I tried random saves in a row, they all worked befroe I quit the game and now that character's saves are all corrupted. Only thing I changed was that I updated Serana Dialogue mod, rebooted the game and puff. A bunch of work down the drain.

Got a message that Shlongs of Skyrim can't find two shlongs. So it's probably that. Idk. Reinstalled that and related mods. Anyway, I nuked the whole mod folder and uninstalled the game. F this. So much work put into making that character and I can't even recover the Look.

Multiple saves can't get corrupted at once. There was probably a missing mod message, not a corrupted save message. Or a SKSE plugin.

Well, if you rage-quit that fast, then modding may not be your thing.

It said the file can't load because the save is corrupted on all the saves for that character.
Not the missing mod message that needs a mod enabled.

And the saves could be loaded before? How big of a time interval was between them?

Do you have Engine Fixes installed? There is a thing called False Save Corruption, which it fixes:
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/17230

Also, as regards possible issues due to the latest update, see this:
The latest 1.6.1130 and 1.6.1170 update and guide - https://steamcommunity.com/app/489830/discussions/0/4031350196521219646/

Or you can just try using this with Engine Fixes:
SE Engine Fixes - Modified .toml File Only For SSE v1.6.1130 and v1.6.1170 -
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/108069

Thank you for the fix suggestions but like I said, I already nuked the game and the mods.
It's just not worth it, putting in mountains of work, to then finding a needle in a haystack and have the whole thing go down over some issue or other. Seriously though, thanks for the help.

You're welcome, Henry! Since games are meant to be enjoyed, if one is causing excessive aggravation instead, then putting it aside is likely the best thing to do - you can always return to it at some future date. And if you do return to SSE at some point, you know where to ask if you need assistance!

Good luck and have fun in whatever you choose to play next!
