morning all what do most of you play as a male or female, I reckon its female. also what race is the most attractive for a female I have always played nord.thanks

Not really. It only means that they are the ones who care enough about their characters' aesthetics to share images of them. People playing a default male Nord likely do not even so much as glance at their characters due to staying in first person perspective as much as humanly possible.

I always pick female for that sweet 10% damage increase against the opposite sex. I read somewhere that most human enemies you meet are male, so might as well get that bonus. And I've tried playing as every race and the one that I find pretty is Redguard. The rest are fine but Redguard's better. Plus my favourite playstyle is dual-wield so it's a perfect match.

Bandits are around 75-80% male while Civil War factions (at least when unmodded) are even more heavily weighted to favor males, with Stormcloaks seeming to spawn 90% male while Imperials are 100% male. One of the reasons why leveled list feminizers are used so frequently is not just because people want to see more female characters in the setting, it is because they are playing male characters which otherwise get very little out of the Agent of Dibella reward perk.

Hey. i'd play as male. No reason to try the other gender. Never thought much about this issue. I play vanilla too.

It might be fun to see a developer maintained player choice metric chart on this like Bioware used to share with the fan base or like Larian Studios still does from time to time (or Don't Nod shares as a reward of sorts for completing episodes of their Life is Strange games).

That is likely the baffling viewpoint that lead to a combination of children and kink at Pride Parades. Adolescence is perhaps less mature than Senescence but it is not 'childish'.

Depend on the play style really

Sneaky/Two handed = guy
Magic/One handed + shield = girl

You can make all race attractive with enough mods... except Argonian, you can't fix that abomination

I wouldn't know anything about Baldur's Gate 3 or The Sims 4. Those aren't the sort of games I would ever play.

I've never claimed I know the actual ratio, only that it seems a reasonable guess. I wasn't speaking about every game in the world, I was speaking about Skyrim in the Skyrim forum. There's certainly nothing unreasonable about assuming most Elder Scrolls folks play females ... it's almost a meme after all.

And boy do they flame anyone who declares there's something wrong with that.

I played both, but for every 100 good mods made for female (by good it can either be cute, beautiful, sexy, ahem), there's only half dozen good mods made for male

I always play female in my rpg's for 2 reasons mainly.

The first being that if I am going to stare at an avatar for hours on end in a game, it's going to be an attractive avatar.

The second reason, especially in skyrim, is that the best armors in the game seem to be female only. There are so many UNP and cbbe 3ba armors that so superior to any vanilla armor that is seems like a handicap to use vanilla armor in the game.
